Following are the types of rollers we manufacture :

High Precision Tungsten Carbide Corrugated Roll

Anti Frictional Tungsten Coating rollers are highly efficient as they symbolises the most advanced technological development of the Corrugation Packaging Industry. The combination of High Precision Grinding and Cobalt Tungsten Coating enhances the life of the rollers and is economically viable on the production frontier. BKG provides certification for Flute as well as Product Quality. Such rollers are perfectly synchronised with single facers and automatic corrugation plantsin order to maximise the return on investment. Service and Repairs: BKG also offers Re-Grinding and Repairs for the old rollers in order to enhance their productive strength. In the case of Re-Grinding, we strip the residual coating on the surface of the roller and then smoothly grind and polish in order to re-gain rollers productive strength. However, the diameter of the roller remains the same.

Chrome Plated Corrugated Roll

Chrome Plated rollers are mainly suitable for medium speed single facers and manual Corrugation plants. Following are some of the technical know how of Chrome Plated Rollers :

Technical Know How :

  • Roller Material : Custom Tailored. However, most commonly used 48 and 50 Cr Mo Alloy Steel Forging.
  • Coating Thickness Range : 22-28 Micro-Cracks Functional Chromium Coating
  • Custom Tailored Rock Profile of Rollers for Economically Viable Production Process.
  • Excellent Release Properties :
  • Hardness: Hardness of rollers > 55-60 HRC
  • Highly advanced heating and tempering unit
  • High Precision Grinding
  • Laser Profile Tester: Accurate Profile Testing in order to yield best results.

Service and Repairs: BKG also offers Re-Grinding and Repairs for the old rollers in order to enhance their productive strength. We just require one day for Re-Fluting and Re-Grinding of rollers.

Conversion of Chrome Plated Rollers to Tungsten Carbide Rollers

BKG also offers the provision for conversion of old chrome-plated rollers to tungsten carbide rollers. Due to such provision, there is a considerable savings on the material cost for the prospective customers.


However in the case of conversion, careful examination is required for such kind of rollers. This is because not all Chrome-Plated Rollers can be converted into Tungsten Coated Rollers due to divergence in the heat treatment process.
